“Soo Jin is so motivating and incredibly dedicated to her craft. Attending her PDs let me walk away with not only an abundance of information, but resources that I could use in my classroom. “I’ve attended numerous PDs and trainings lead by Soo Jin and they have all exceeded my expectations. She not only as deep knowledge in the areas of Reader’s and Writer’s Workshop, and ELD, but she is also a phenomenal trainer and demonstrator. Soojin’s PD’s are impactful because she not only presents presents great information but she also guides teachers to plan lessons and prepare materials so that teachers can implement right away. Her PDs are always organized and have clear goals and objectives. I’ve been to many trainings as an educator for the past 15 years and Soojin’s have been the best.”

— Grace Park/ Teacher —

"I was privileged to attend Soo Jin's English Language Learner trainings over a two-year span, and after-school and week-long trainings for readers and writers workshop. She was a very dynamic speaker and she really planned out her sessions so that they were "teacher-based." Her trainings were unforgettable. I am still using many of the strategies, hand-outs, and books that she gave me when I teach.

— Alex Jauregui, Cotsen Mentor/Teacher —

“Soo Jin is an exemplary staff developer. She presented volunteer summer workshops for our district on a variety of subjects including using ELD standards to plan lessons. Her workshops were always packed! When teachers are willing to go to volunteer training, you know the workshops are valuable! As a very experienced staff, we were pleasantly surprised to learn so much from her in an hour. In 35 years in education, I have rarely worked with someone who shows such ability to lead and train others.”
